Helping someone you love sometimes means finding help for yourself: 4 great links for support
Post two of my Valentine’s day countdown.
Continuing along the theme of taking care of yourself if you are a caregiver for someone who is in chronic pain.
If you need resources - have I got resources for you. Most of them are in the United States and a couple from Canada, but if you are from elsewhere, perhaps they can help you locate local help in your area.
The Caregiver Network, Inc. - A Canadian website. Unfortunately, it has not been updated since 2004, that I can see, however the information available is still interesting and pertinent.
Caregiver.com - This site has a lot of information, as well as a newsletter, and a magazine that you can subscribe to.
National Family Caregivers Association - Now this site is a gold mine of information for caregivers. For everything from how to set up support groups to connecting with other caregivers. Definitely worth a look.
Partners Against Pain - This site provides you with many links to sites with information on pain management, support for the caregiver, pain policy and more.
Do you have a favorite place to get your information or support? Please share them with us if you do.

The sites you listed are all wonderful resoucres for family caregivers. AGIS.com is another great resource. In the interest of full disclosure, I should tell you that I work for the company, but we hear regularly from caregivers that the site has helped them tremendously. AGIS.com offers articles and educational information, local resources, expert advice and the opportunity to connect with other careigvers.
