Botox effective for some painful disorders, not others
The botulinum toxin (Botox) is gaining popularity as a potential treatment for treating chronic pain. My friend Trish (Company’s calling - a journey with fibromyalgia) had tried it with great success for her fibromyalgia and had planned on writing about her experiences with it.
While botulinum toxin is proving to be effective in some cases, it’s not doing so well in the migraine treatment area, which was what a lot of people were hoping for. You can read more about what it is working for and what it’s not effective for in Botulinum toxin effective in many neurological disorders, not headache.
