10 professions that cause chronic pain
Quick. Name 10 professions that you think would have the highest likelihood of causing chronic pain. Did you list firefighter? It made the list. Postal carrier? Nope. How about nurse? No, but nurse’s aide did. What about construction workers? Yes. Custodians or janitors? No. 
It’s interesting the perceptions we have about what jobs could cause pain. The ABC article, Killer 
Jobs: 10 Painful Professions, lists some jobs you would expect to be at the top of the list, but some that make you kind of scratch your head in wonder.
