Speaking of knee injuries… Tiger Woods update
Speaking of knee injuries (Dodgers 2nd baseman, Jeff Kent, out with knee injury, which also explains why the knee is so easily injured), Tiger Woods has gone on record as saying that there will be no golfing for him for the rest of this year at least.
Tiger had reconstructive surgery on his left knee on June 24. This was only 8 days after his U.S. Open victory. He had had early arthroscopic surgery on the same knee. You can read more about Tiger and what is going on in this article, Woods won’t swing club until next year; timetable for return uncertain.

Speaking from experience I predict that Tiger’s knee will not be 100% until 2010. Playing too soon on it will only set the recovery table back. Crafting a new swing to “depressurize” the knee will be Tiger’s greatest challenge. However, that said, Tiger will overcome and eventually take over Jack Nicklaus’ records.
