Company’s Calling, a popular Monday feature, hasn’t appeared for a while because I ran out of volunteers who wished to be interviewed. According to Finnish researchers who published their findings in International Journal of Sports Medicine, women with fibro should […]

It’s hard for some people to understand how you can develop a deep friendship with someone you’ve never met. With today’s technology, communicating by computer and by phone, it is quite easy to do that.
Through my love of greyhounds and my participation on the GreyTalk forum, I got to know Tricia Olson-Giles, of West Tennessee. […]

As the debate among people who live with fibromyalgia, as well as the medical community, continues as to whether fibromyalgia is a true disease and whether Lyrica (pregabalin) is helpful (or harmful) therapy, another story has been published about its benefits in treatment regardless of depression or anxiety.
It’s difficult enough to find treatments for diseases […]

This week, we welcome Bonnie Hensley, a 50-year-old registered nurse in the Seattle area joins us. She tells me that she works 56 hours in a 2-week period (3 days one week, 4 the next) in a community hospital operating room.
She’s been an OR nurse (”all I’ve ever done as a nurse,” she says) […]
