Do you have lupus? Do you want to be pregnant?

When a woman has a chronic disease and finds out that she’s pregnant or wants to become pregnant, so many issues come up that it may seem frightening.
For diseases like lupus, it used to be that women were told not to have babies and if they did become pregnant, abortion was encouraged by physicians.
